There are plenty of reviews, either users or critics reviews, which include brief summary and commentary about the story without spoiling anything.
You shouldn't blindly buying game simply because it was a RPG, on *sale, and has 'ok graphics', then whining why it doesn't meet your expectation on the forum later on. That is exactly what you're doing wrong, sugar. Maybe I made a mistake but the gameplay isn't that bad I've played some really dull rpgs and this ones not that bad imo gameplay wise. To be honest I love the combat systems in other rpgs.
